Resonances Festival

From May 22-25, Alena performed various concerts at the Resonances Festival in the beautiful Chateau de Halloy near Ciney, Belgium. The programmes featured works of Brahms, Bacewicz, Shostakovich, Glazunov and Schubert. Alena and her colleagues spent a week at the chateau, hidden from their usual fast-track lives and the major concert halls. That rehearsal period led to a series of concerts given throughout the weekend, starting on Thursday evening in the barn next to the chateau.
